Nordic Iron completes drilling in Blötberget with several promising intersections and strong potential for increased mineral resources

Highlights

Nordic Iron has completed its largest ever drilling campaign at the Blötberget iron ore project in Sweden, comprising 39 holes and about 21 000 m of core drilling, with some of the strongest intersections in the project’s history. Preliminary results suggest the mineral resource could have increased by about 20 million tonnes to around 87 million tonnes, with potential to exceed 100 million tonnes once all data is incorporated. Deep drilling confirmed significant hematite mineralisation at depth, strengthening the case for expanded resources, and the company will now proceed with geological verification and laboratory analysis as part of advancing Blötberget toward future production of ultra-high-grade iron ore concentrate.
